PAU is a berlin based american artist, born paul tyree-francis in 1982 in wisconsin, usa. his artwork been exhibited in berlin, moscow, dublin, tenerife, los angeles, oakland, and new york. he has notably created album covers for william onyeabor, alice coltrane turiyasangitananda, floating points with pharoah sanders and the london symphony orchestra, alhaji waziri oshomah, francis bebey, staples jr. singers, javelin, delicate steve, janka nabay, doug hream blunt and many more.
PAU is primarily interested in exploring the concepts of being, time, space, energy, consciousness, spirituality, religion, justice, culture, capital, craft, class, the commons, cosmos and the unknown.
PAU is happily married and has two young sons.
